Due to COVID, like many others, we looked to create an in-home workout space.One of the most important pieces that we added was the Outslayer 100lbs training bag. After doing a lot of research concerning heavy bags this company stayed at the top of all searches. Even some of the bags that bigger companies offered didn't even compare to the quality of the Outslayer brand.This bag came in a really durable cover that protected it throughout transport. It arrived in perfect condition.The bag is outstanding. It is made of heavy (but pliable) vinyl material. The stitching is spot on and void of imperfections of any kind. It is stuffed with fabric that can be removed and adjusted to a density that works for you. You can easily access the fabric through the top of the bag. The bag is supported by two straps which have heavy duty O-rings at the end. I attached them to an industrial grade caribiner with a 400lb capacity. I also requested a D-ring at the base of the bag so that we could add a weight in case of excessive motion during striking. This has to be done after you place your order. The branding on the bag is a powerful touch.The bag hangs nicely. It feels great while punching or kicking. [But] I am going to purchase a cover for the lower half of the bag to protect it against excessive abrasion due to kicking impacts.I have taken some detailed and up close pictures so that you can see the superior quality of this bag. The craftspersonship of it is stellar. So glad to be able to add this to our workout space.lastly, this is a American made product and are made to order. This creates a 2-3 week turn around time. However, knowing that the company made this bag for us and no one else adds a special quality to the bag. First off let me start by saying I have not ever written a customer review on here. With that said, when you absolutely love a product, it's nice to give thanks to its maker and supplier. I have trained on several types of heavy bags from different companies (some very well known world wide) over the years. As a new school owner though, I wanted to make sure the quality of equipment we were going to be putting in our school was top notch. Several months ago, while pricing heavy bags from different suppliers, I came across Outslayer. I was intrigued by what I saw and read about the products. After reading a lot of the customer reviews, I decided to give them a shot so I ordered the 100 Lb MMA bag to test. Wanted to start with a standard bag to test the quality before getting into the larger bags. That bag arrived quickly and must say I loved the covering case it arrived in. Made sure the bag was protected during its cross country journey. Plus the covering case makes it nice to pack the bag up during moves if you move or need to transport the equipment to a different training location. Once the bag arrived, I immediately took down one of our other existing bags and replaced it with the Outslayer bag. The appearance alone of the bag handing there gave a very nice professional look but yet has that look that says "let's train" ! So that's what we did. Over the past several months, we have given that bag all we could from basic striking to hard core heavy bag workouts. During these workouts we have utilized our full array of Muay Thai strikes including knees, and elbows. No injuries, no cuts, no burns from the material the bag is made from ! The bag gives just the right amount that allows even the beginner striker to use without injury but yet allows the hardest of hitters to bang until they flat out can't go anymore. The filling is done perfectly, not using sand but using fabric which gives a realistic feeling when striking. This bag has been put to the test and then some by every member of our training crew and has been the best equipment investment I have ever made. There has been no settling with the filling, unlike the majority of all the other bags I have trained on. It is still in the same shape and form that it was on day one ! With such success of the initial bag, I knew I had found my supplier for all the bags in our school. So I then went ahead and purchased the 130 lb 6ft Muay Thai Bag. Again, delivery was fast, same great covering and transport case. It was hung first day it arrived and we went to work. This is an incredible bag. The height is perfect and allows for changing levels of striking, from working low leg kicks to high head kicks and works great for students of all sizes. Same great quality Again just like the first bag, the filling is incredible. Very even all the way through with just the right amount of give to create as much as a realistic striking experience as a heavy bag can. The cost for these bags are great. No complaints at all about that. I must admit that I am surprised that these bags do not cost more because the quality of the bag is top notch so with that, you are really getting the best deal for your money. with the opportunity to pick your colors and customize your bags also, Outslayer is a great company to order from. If you have actually taken the time to read this, then let me finish by simply stating this.....if your are looking for a great bag that will hold up and allow you to get the most out of your training, then stop searching and just go ahead and add this bag to your cart and make the purchase. I wanted to build a home gym to train muay thai and needed a bag of excellent quality. After hitting the bag a few times, I found that Outslayer has not disappointed me to even the slightest. The robust quality of the bag makes every hit feel like you're training in a professional gym, not to mention the surface of the bag is the perfect hardness for shin conditioning. Although, I didn't get the Muay Thai bag which runs longer, this one is still amazing to say the least! Worth every penny to have a bag as good as this one, not to mention, it looks like an absolute beast in my garage gym.INSTALLATION: There's no one-size-fits-all approach so I'll give you my set of instructions1. 2x6 from Home Depot measured to cover at least 4 ceiling joists. I got 4 lag screws that were 3/8 and 4 in. deep, then drilled the wood into each joist. Use a stud finder to find the joists. Always drill pilot holes before drilling the screw in to avoid complications2. After drilling the 2x6 in, I drilled in the sliding rail that I use which hangs the bag. Before I attached the wood to the ceiling, I already had predrilled holes for all the screws, so I can easily drill in the bag mount to the wood. The 2x6 is what supports this piece since it's long enough to reach multiple joists.3. On the ring part of the attachment beam, I have a carabiner, spring, and chains which are attached to the bag via a chainlink. I used a table in order to keep the bag held up, and a ladder to attach it to the ceiling.Note: You can find most tools at home depot, although I did get the spring, and sliding rail off amazon. There are other combat sports stores that sell high quality equipment, but prices may be on the higher end. Use extreme caution and discretion when drilling, or installing to high ceilings. Wear PPE if necessary.

Its a great Heavy bag and it can take a real beating without deforming.

I am an avid martial artist and train in multiple martial arts, so I was looking for a Heavy bag that would stay in good shape and serve me well for many years and to replace my old Everlast punching bag which wore out. I looked for a long time and eventually found the Outslayer Heavy bag. It seemed to have good reviews, so I bought it. And may I say, it works great! The leather straps attached to the D-ring make it so it's nice and quiet. It's also very resilient. I've trained every day on it for the last few months, and it hasn't deformed at all. The material on the outside is a bit rougher and has more grip to it. I've heard other people comment negatively on that, but I've had no issue with it. The inside material is nice to strike. At first when I got it, it was a little too rigid, but after a few times of kicking it, it had the right amount of firmness and give. So, in conclusion, I really like this punching bag. It has a great feel when striking it, its outside is durable, and it keeps its form really well when put under high impact. I have a feeling it will last a really long time, and I would highly recommend it to other martial arts enthusiasts.

Great Heavy Bag 5 Stars

I have recently purchased the Outslayer Filled Punching Bag 100 lbs Heavy Bag, I can confidently say that it's one of the best investments I've made for my at-home gym setup. The bag arrived promptly and was well-packaged to ensure that it was in pristine condition upon arrival.After hanging it up in my garage gym, I was impressed with the bag's construction. The material is incredibly durable it make me feel confident that the bag can handle the weight and force of my training sessions. The filling provides the perfect amount of resistance and absorbs punches and kicks well, while still feeling firm and responsive.One of the things I appreciate about this bag is how easy it is to hang. Great item but was damaged during delivery

The product itself is great. It is very sturdy in every aspect. Kicks and punches feel very good: it is heavy/strong enough to sustain intense training but still provides some cushions to not hurt yourself.The very unfortunate part is that the bag was punctured through the packaging/cover that was supposed to cover it. I wish for a well over $300 punching bag, more had been done to properly rotect the item.

FedEx messed up

Is a very great punching bag but FedEx mishandled the bag and there is a small micro tear on the outside lineing but did not puncture through any of the bags inside lining just the outside

Best heavy bag out there

This is a really great bag hands down. Only problem is that my bag was badly scratched during shipment as you can tell by the pictures. Considering the fact that shipping was $53, I was a bit disappointed. UPDATE: I also noticed some parts of the bag are unevenly filled. I have decided to keep it as Outslayer bags come with a 10 year warranty, If they didn't I would've exchange it. Would definently buy again though.

Without a doubt, one of the best heavy bags you can buy, and at a great price as well. It’s not as hard as the sand-filled bags, which makes it extremely comfortable to use for longer sessions. This meant that it hadn’t shipped yet by the time the expected delivery date passed. The seller is very responsive and explained that it was being custom built, but this information would have been nice to know on the original response to the request for the d-ring. That being said, the seller was very helpful once I initially reached out.

Good bag with the appropriate resistance

I wanted a quality bag and did some research. I purchased the bag filled as i was worried I could fill it wrong. I am 6'3 @189 lbs so i needed a long tough bag. It is mounted outside and I just take it down daily. It feels really good to punch and kick. The "give" is perfect. Some gyms have bags that are rock solid. I guess they are made for hooks. This one responds well to everything while giving me a good workout. I don't think a novice should hit it without proper direction and hand wraps. Please stay tuned to see how it holds up.I got this from a drop shipper. You may be able to get the bag at a better price if you contact the brand direct. I don't know the shipping time.

Firstlaw Fitness Wood Beam Heavy Bag Hanger to Mount Punching Bag - With 360 Degree Swivel - Made In The USA!Ringside Heavy Bag SpringSummary: Great bag if you are okay with a long wait.Shipping-I ordered this bag on 5-19-18. It arrived 6-8-18. When I bought it, it initially gave the dates 5-25-18 through 6-4-18 as the estimated time of arrival. I sent an order inquiry on 6-4-18 to see if it was on the way, since a packing slip was created on 5-20-18 for it. I got a response addressed to "chris" that they would put it in the mail that day. After my inquiry, it was dropped off at the post office and finally on its way. I found it at my doorstep on 6-8-18. This part was disappointing and I can't help but wonder if I could've gotten it sooner if I checked in with them sooner. This is primarily the reason for losing a star, as the bag itself is pretty great.It came inside of a protective bag that is made of a similar material to the bag itself. Someone that's industrious may want to just sew on some mounting straps and stuff the cover for an instant backup bag. I'm thinking of just stuffing it and using it as a ground-bag for workouts and ground-and-pound stuff. It served its purpose and the punching bag came out completely blemish free. It's a really nice touch.Mounting-I have a low ceiling in my basement, so it's a bit lower than it should be, but it still works. I used a firstlaw fitness swivel mount, bolted to a flooring joist, and a ringside 7" bag spring. I like this combination, since the spring gives it motion to work on footwork around the bag, and essentially removes all shock throughout the house. The only drawback is being low enough to move a lot for the punches. it's great for body-kicks/hooks though.I love the built-in straps. Not having to mess around with chains makes this very quick and easy to toss up and bring down whenever I need to. Using an anchor-shackle allows for the two heavy-duty steel hangers of the bag to sit nicely side-by-side without grinding them into each other, like they would with a carabiner. The straps are sewn in to a circular reinforcement band that runs the circumference of the bag and results in a very strong bag. I have 100% confidence that the straps won't rip free with time.The bag-The bag itself is great for MMA stuff. I've kicked a lot of bags, and it is very frustrating to suddenly "find" a ziplock bag of sand hidden within the stuffing fabric of some other manufacturers. It's also frustrating to deal with a bag that's got a rock-hard bottom, but squishy middle. This bag is very uniform and hasn't settled in the month I've been beating on it. It gets lumpy and doesn't stay cylindrical...but whatever. That's not a big deal. I didn't need to remove any stuffing to be able to immediately start blasting this with thai-kicks. It's in a nice goldilocks zone of neither being too hard nor too soft. I made a slow-mo video of some random kicks, punches, and things so you can see how the bag responds to being struck.If you want a bag that stays put, opt for the d-ring on the bottom, move up to a larger bag, or augment the stuffing to be heavier. This will move around on you at only 100 lbs. Like I mentioned earlier though, bag movement is good for working on range, footwork, defense...etc, so it's a good thing for me.Closing-This has been a great bag. It's uniform, durable, and the built-in hanging straps are awesome. I was very disappointed in how long it took to get to my door, and felt a bit misled by the initial wait time given. If I had to do it again, I'd still go ahead and buy this bag, but I'd do it with the expectation that the ETA will be wildly off. It's like having a doctor that's great at what he/she does, but that has rough bedside manner. I'd much rather have that doctor and fill out a hurt-feelings report than have Dr Sunshine cut out the wrong thing.Kudos to outslayer for producing a quality product. Their workers should be proud of what they make. I just wish they'd improve the time factor to make the entire experience a pleasant one.

Outstanding product and Shipping

Quality is the first thing you notice with this product and the care the company takes especially with the shipping cover. The stitching, zippers and mounting hardware were made extremely well and paired easily with my mount and hardware.I am definitely sold on the outslayer brand because you can see the level of detail that goes into their products. Don’t settle for cheaper alternatives if it means buying another brand save up a little more as this puts others to shame.

Awesome Bag!

Had this bag for about a week now, and completed several workouts on it. It feels great, takes heavy punches, elbows and kicks very well. Has a wonderful pop to it, but is forgiving and easy on the joints. The bag is very high quality and I was impressed with overall construction. The perfect addition to my garage gym. My little kids have also been using it as well and they love it. Highly recommend!

High quality heavy (100lb) bag

I like how every part of how the heavy punching bag is evenly filled. its nice and firm, perfect for striking and kicking. I kept the bag closer to the floor so that my 3yr and 7yr can hit the bag also.I understand I probably could get a bag for a lot less, but I believed in paying for quality and I am not definitely not disappointed at all. I am very happy with the purchase. The bag was delivered in a heavy thick cover, so it was very well protected and was delivered in pristine condition. No delayed with delivery, all around, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend buying.

Great Punching Bag

Installation was easy. Bag came wrapped to prevent any problems during shipping. Picked this bag over the everlast during yo better quality material, which I now can confirm is true. Bag shell great material and made from leather or similar material to prevent ripping. Straps are slowed to the bag very well and is pre-filled as I bought the 100 pound bag. My only concern is that attaching the strap rings (made of metal) to the mount (also metal) in the ceiling for how I have it hanging, will cause corrosion to the rings or lots of wear and tear. I bought a spring loaded hanging device for the bag and also a 360 spinal attached to my ceiling. I saw suggestions yo buy a tow wrap and use that to hang instead of chains. Overall Great Priduct!

Well built bag

Item arrived prefilled and full. It was inside an outer canvas like cover to protect it during shipping which did a good job in doing just that. Heavy duty, quality made hardware attached. Material feels and looks like it’s ready to take some punishment. Very sturdy and well made!

Excellent as advertised

I just received my 100lb heavy bag from Outslayer and must say I am very pleased. This would be my fourth bag over my lifetime and this is the best by far. Made in the USA, expert craftsmanship, very durable appearing and plus a ten year guarantee. Another plus is when you give some nice snapping punches to it you are rewarded with a sweet sound...the mark of a good bag. I initially thought I might have remove some stuffing but after two sessions it is already softening up nicely. I mounted it in the garage on a big load bearing beam with a bracket I also found on Amazon. It came with a D ring on the bottom so I put an anchored eye bolt into the concrete floor and attached a well tensioned bungee. The swing is controlled and solid. I have to say I loved the bag it was shipped in which in itself is very well made.

First of all let’s talk about the bag. This bag is as nice as any bag I have seen in any mma, boxing, or kickboxing gym. It is sturdy throughout the bag and is sturdy and holds shape without being too stiff. I’ve really enjoyed working out on this bag and throwing heavy leg kicks again!Upon arrival, I realized I actually received the wrong size bag. Their customer service shipped out a replacement bag and were more than generous by allowing me to keep the original bag they sent me.I really can’t say enough about the bag quality and customer service. PERFECT 100LB BAG FOR HOME GYM

Absolutely better than expected - quality is top shelf - solid. Just a really genuinely cool looking bag. Came in perfect condition wrapped in a protective canvas bag. My husband has been asking for a punching bag and I like to do my research before buying anything I'm not familiar with so after looking into several different brands, Outslayer was definitely my number one choice. It certainly isn't the least expensive, but by far not the most. An ultra-quality heavy bag and super easy to install

I had researched heavy bags and finally decided upon this awesome 100lb Outslayer heavy bag. The way it was shipped was perfect with an easy zip bag/cover over it, and after opening I was certainly pleased with the quality and durability of the material itself being very thick and most definitely not some low quality product...this looked and felt like it was built to last right out of the gate. I attached my swivel and a few links to get it to the appropriate length ( I already had an eyebolt mounted into the overhead beam in my garage and this can be done in 5 min or less ) and I was ready to go. I Wrapped my hands and threw on some bag gloves and was ready to go. I found the bag to be exactly what I wanted ( I needed a 100 lb bag for some kicking too) and it was stable and gave me a good workout. Obviously bags take a little time to break in and the stiffness has already subsided after 2 weeks of use. I love the quality, and I love the 10 year warranty. This bag and com-any is highly recommended.
