Outslayer Universal Heavy Bag Hanger

I've been using this for nearly 3 months, every other day, for at least 30 minutes.On one hand, it's easy to use and strong enough to hold a 150 lb bag. On the other hand, the D-rings cause permanent damage the straps. Not sure if Outslayer switched to another type of D-ring, but others have reported this problem as well. As a result, it can't be used without damaging it. See my attached images. The damage shown is only after a single use and is a result of the D-ring corner abrasion upon the strap.I did write Outslayer and they indicated that this was not warranted like the bags are. But they did tell me to continue using it and they politely offered to send a replacement if it breaks. Instead, I wrapped the D-ring in cloth and I've had no more problems with it. I'd considered switching to a chain but I like the shock absorption of the vinyl strap rather than hard chains which transfer energy.I like Outslayer products but I think that this one needs some slight improvements. Seems to mainly just be a problem with the inside edges of the D-rings.

This thing I awesome! No drilling, no stud finding, NO hassle! Had my bag up in 3 min flat!. I wish I had found this thing years ago.

This is perfect! We are just renting and didn’t want to drill anything into the beams in the basement and we are really happy we found this. Very sturdy.

This hanger is pretty sturdy and is more tuff then others I own, this is a pretty decent product and is worth the price. It even came with a sticker and magnet lol

Haven’t used vigorously…yet. But first impressions are good. Solid hold, easy to install. It’s easily 3x as thick as my last strap and that one held for a long time. Would recommend. I’m not giving 5 star durability because tbd

Holds the bag really well

I needed an extension for my Ringside body snatcher heavy bag. This item does what I needed it to and more. It's sturdy and the bag hangs well on it. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to buy.

We used to hang our heavy bag in our garage but since the weather is getting cooler lately, we needed something that we can attach the bag to our PRX inside the house.This hanger is perfect for home racks. It is sturdy and does the job!

I used this product to hang my 150lb Muay Thai heavy bag from my power rack. Very easy to use and it’s definitely strong. You can also adjust the velcro to be shorter/longer to fit your needs. Definitely would buy this again!

After a lot of research on how to hang up 2 bags (1 heavy bag and 1 aqua bag) I purchased 2 of these straps. I was worried about it not being able to adjust with the height I needed.But after some playing around, I was able to secure both bags at the height I needed!And it feels super secure and looks clean!Recommend!

Using the Outslayer heavy bag hanger to hang my 18” 120lb Aqua Bag on a free standing pull-up/squat rack. Easy to get adjusted and this thing is strong. Doesn’t slide on the cross bar like metal chains tend to do. Definitely recommend!

I was hesitant about this strap at first, since I had only used heavy bags held up by hardware. It was VERY easy to install and no tools were required. I've had mine for three months, and it's still holding my 100 lbs. heavy bag just fine. I would definitely buy this again.

I was very surprised when the package arrived. The quality is second to none! As my first Outslayer purchase; I was impressed with the heft and craftsmanship of this strap, very well done!The sticker and magnet was a nice touch, well done Outslayer, looking forward to visiting this seller again for a 6ft heavy bag!

I used this with my Titan fitness heavy bag which weighs about 80lbs. Got a few rounds in so far and its held up just fine.

I purchased two other mounting brackets, but the smallest width was 3” so it wouldn’t work because the beam is 2”. I purchased this and worked PERFECT. It’s very durable, thick and holds extremely well. My heavy bag is 70lbs, but I weight 187lbs and hung off of it and held up just the same. I definitely recommend this. Comes with a free sticker and fridge magnet.

Fast shipping, received sooner than originally estimated. Hung over garage rafter. The heavy bag is 100 lbs, so I did need help to hang it, but it took us less than 5 minutes to get it adjusted to the right height. The strap seems very durable and like other reviewers I questioned that velcro would hold, but it works perfectly. I don't notice any wear around the D ring, but I'm probably not hitting it as hard as some others might be. Great service, great product.

I ordered this hanger to replace one I already purchased from another company (broke after 2 uses). I will say, when I ordered this I was skeptical with it being velcro, but I am glad I bought this!I was able to install by myself without any tools in a minute or two. When reading the reviews, before I purchased it, I saw one of the complaints was the strap wearing down. This is why I put an old hand towel around the board and then put the strap around that.When hitting my bag (weighs around 125lbs) there is minimal sound and bouncing (even with a power uppercut) as the strap acts almost like a spring and helps absorb the movements and sounds.I would highly recommend this hanger!

I purchased the Universal Heavy Bag Hanger on 03/13/2025 and I wanted to wait to give this product a fair review. This product is very sturdy and I have zero negative feedback to give and nothing but positive things to say about it. This product is strong and does the job, I compare it to a gorilla holding the bag for me lol. Also excuse all the lines in the photo haha

Honestly seems like a great product. I just got it today, so I haven’t had a chance to really go rounds on the bag yet, but it holds my 130 pound bag with no issues at all! I even hung off the bag with my full 230 pounds for a few seconds with no issues.

The heavy bag strap is a solid choice for hanging my heavy bag up!

Awesome heavy bag hanger, it’s long enough for high celling and can adjust for normal celling. Definitely worth buying because of it’s quality, no need to worry of it is able to bare the heavy bag weight of 150+ lbs, it will get the job done.

I’m an OUTSLAYER fan now. I bought their 130 pound Muay Thai bag and hung it with the OUTSLAYER strap. It’s versatile, and I don’t see this thing wearing out anytime soon. I did wrap the truss with cloth and duck tape, and the flat part of the D ring with cloth and electrical tape, just based off of a review I saw that the D ring was wearing into the strap a little bit. Very quality made, worked perfect for my purposes and at a great price! I highly recommend.

Will update this review if I have any issues with the product in the future as I just set it up today. Seems very strong and was able to hang a 100 lb bag up all by myself (not that I recommend doing so) in all of about 30 min. And that's including the unboxing. Hung on the support beam in the basement. Used for about an hour and the straps didn't budge. I was afraid they may try and jump around during use, but that wasn't the case at all. For the convenience and price, I highly recommend this product
