Proslayer 80lb Heavy Boxing Punching Bag

The bag arrived earlier than expected as I had seen in other reviews. After taking off the plastic wrap, the bag seemed to be in good condition, I hung it up and went right in on it. Very happy with the purchase, for my needs, this bag should last quite a while.

I really wanted to like this heavy bag because it appears to be well made and it's advertised as being made in the USA. Unfortunately, my first impression was ruined by the way it was packaged for shipment.The entire 80 lb heavy bag was shipped wrapped only in a thick plastic covering instead of being protected inside a box or other substantial packaging. By the time FedEx delivered it, the plastic had been ripped open in multiple places, leaving the heavy bag exposed during transit. It is not FedEx; it is the shipper of the product responsible for the packaging.As a result, my bag arrived with damage to the outer material. I've attached photos showing the torn packaging and the scuffing damage to the bag.An 80 lb heavy bag is a significant purchase, and I expected it to be packaged well enough to survive normal shipping. The product itself may be good, but the packaging did not adequately protect it.I'm contacting the seller to see how they resolve the issue, and I'll update this review based on their customer service and the outcome.UPDATE: The seller refunded my $50 shipping charge, which I appreciate. However, I was disappointed with how my concerns were handled. After I sent multiple photos, I was asked to send them again. I was then told the bag wasn't damaged, only "slightly dusty," despite arriving exposed because the shrink wrap had torn open during shipping. The response also emphasized that the bag was being sold below cost, which I didn't feel was relevant to the condition in which it arrived. The seller later explained why they switched from boxes to shrink wrap, but I still believe an 80 lb heavy bag deserves better protection. The bag itself appears well made, but the packaging and customer service left me disappointed.

Love this product!! I have it hanging in my garage. Size is perfect and the assembly was easy. I just had to buy some chain to hang it.

Arrived quickly, easy to install.

My son wanted a new punching bag for his workouts. The product came ahead of scheduled times and wrapped securely. The bag is sturdy and made with quality material. He is very pleased with his new bag.

I can’t comment on longevity but first impressions are great. Plenty of fill, I don’t think it can settle much. It’s as heavy as described 80.4lbs. Was a great price and so far a great purchase.

Just put this up about a week ago and 1st the packaging was great. Took me about 20 minutes to unwrap( did not want to use knife to prevent damaging) so even if amazon driver was rough with it it didn't matter. The straps are really thick and stitching is amazing. From the looks of it this will last a very long time. Both my boys and I have used it so far and it has taken a pretty good beating and held up very well. This is perfect for our gym in the basement. Highly recommend for anyone with a shorter basement. My basement ceilings are only about 6 1/2 feet from the ground so I went with the 4 foot filled bag and it was worth every penny.

Well built bag. Stiching is good also. Material is thick and durable. Will last for many years to come. The punching bag is about 80lbs or so. Satisfied with my order. And it is true to size also.
